Greig Burgoyne
B. 1971 Glasgow
Lives and works between Hastings and Poitiers
He engages in a broad-based site- specific drawing practice that embraces film, live performance, and installation. Burgoyne unites materials often sourced in and around the proximity of the site each project takes place within, alongside process-led, rule-based strategies. Theoretical frameworks specific to phenomenology, literary structures around the fragment, and dilemmas about space found in modern Russian fiction inform the work.
